Handmade Terrazzo Planter with Drainage Made with Recovered Beach Plastic from Florida Cleanups Sustainable Modern Clean Coast Ocean Plastic
$42.00
This handmade cement planter is part of our Clean Coast Collection — a line of modern terrazzo planters created using plastic recovered from local Florida beaches.
Each piece is cast by hand in our St. Augustine, Florida studio using a custom cement blend and terrazzo chips made from coastal plastic debris collected, cleaned, sorted, and processed locally in partnership with Once Was Lost, a St. Augustine–based recycling and beach cleanup organization.
The result is a durable, minimalist planter that tells a deeper story — transforming coastal waste into something functional, lasting, and intentionally designed.
No two planters are exactly alike. Variations in terrazzo pattern, color distribution, and texture are natural and celebrated. Subtle variations in texture, tone, and pattern are part of what make Dirty Hose pieces special. If you’re drawn to a specific color or look, feel free to reach out — we’re happy to share current pieces or create something close and send photos before shipping.
