We are the Dirty Hose. Welcome to our Saint Augustine, Florida studio!

We make one of a kind, beachy and colorful planter pots, home and garden accessories and gifts for people who have their own unique style and are a little bit obsessed with their plants.

Every piece we make is one of a kind. The cement is blended, colored and cast by hand making no two are exactly alike. You’ll find cement flower pots, terrazzo‑inspired planters made with locally collected St. Augustine beach plastic, and playful home accessories like dog bowls, yarn bowls, lighting, desk organizers and trinket trays.


We’re serious about the planet: we use ocean‑bound plastic as colorful terrazzo chips and beads, and we pack orders in recycled paper shreds that we shred ourselves in between work calls!

Sunflowers in the garden - we are lucky to have some real photographers in our family who capture the flowers and places we go. these sunflowers were ultimately decimated by squirrels!
Wedding Snack - even at our wedding plants and pots were the dominant theme! because i am vegan the River Cafe in Brooklyn NY thought giving me a mini vegetable garden would be fun - and it was! :)
Planting day in Staten Island - with seedlings we grew on our balcony and hardened off as much as we could before planting in the ground! this was the year we tried to companion plant!

City Garden - for a brief moment in time we thought we would have enough sunlight to grow some fun things on our patio in Manhattan. Then rats came. Then scaffolding was put up. Then we bought fake trees from Ali Baba for the pots instead.
